As we move into 2025, our commitment is twofold:

• Enrich our beloved Dharma programs; and
• Tackle the critical systems, facilities, and infrastructure challenges at Land of Medicine Buddha.

Caring for our cherished 108-acre land in the redwood forest is a profound responsibility, and we are dedicated to preserving this sacred space for generations to come.

This year, we are excited to launch the “Support Our Roots” Fundraising Campaign. This initiative focuses on:

• Stabilizing the slide area behind the Gompa to ensure safety and structural integrity;
• Repairing and upgrading our well water and sanitation systems, originally installed in the early 2000s, to meet current and future needs; and
• Restoring and maintaining our forest trails, addressing flooding impacts, managing invasive species, and implementing fire prevention measures to protect the redwood forest.
