Dāna (pronounced “daa-nuh”) is the Pāli word for giving. Dāna is one of the foundations of Buddhist practice and is based on the understanding that giving not only opens the heart, but also creates a connection to others. It also allows us to practice letting go. Land of Medicine Buddha relies on the generous spirit of people like you. Giving to Land of Medicine Buddha is a practice of kindness to support refuge, compassion, clarity, and wisdom.

This incredible project springs directly from the mind of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche. It is part of Rinpoche’s Vast Visions to benefit others. The project exists to benefit as many beings as possible by providing the opportunity for more than 100,000 people to gain the incomparable merit of building stupas, and countless beings the opportunity to encounter this holy site.
