Medicine Buddha Puja for Tengyur Rinpoche
With Venerable Samten
December 1, 2024
We have had to cancel Tengyur Rinpoche’s upcoming visit to LMB, due to Rinpoche needing some medical treatments. Rinpoche let us know there is no cause to be alarmed and he was very disappointed not to be able to visit this trip, but looks forward to arranging a visit in the future.
We invite everyone to participate in this Medicine Buddha Puja for Tengyur Rinpoche’s health so that any and all obstacles are cleared and Rinpoche can have a long life for the benefit of all sentient beings. We hope you can join us for this group practice led by Venerable Samten.
This will be in-person and online via facebook live.
About the Medicine Buddha Puja
Medicine Buddha is the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings. Prayers to the Medicine Buddhas are especially powerful because of the extensive prayers they took to benefit sentient beings. They strongly prayed for the temporal and ultimate happiness of all sentient beings; they vowed that their prayers would be actualized during these times.
Sunday is the day that the puja is scheduled at a regular time so that it’s easier for working people to join in consistently via Facebook, but the Medicine Buddha Puja is performed five days a week at Land of Medicine Buddha, usually by Venerable Samten and occasionally by other staff members.
If you would like to request a prayer—so that you or a loved one receives dedications of the merit at the end of the puja—please email [email protected].
No registration is required to join this puja. If you would like to sponsor the Puja or make a donation, please use the ‘registration’ option to do so.
- You can join in person or online via Facebook live.
- Venerable Samten recites the puja in Tibetan.
- You can follow along in the Medicine Buddha Sadhana pdf from FPMT
