Join us for this incredible event at Land of Medicine Buddha as we welcome His Eminence the 7th Yongzin Ling Rinpoche who has accepted our invitation to give a public talk and bless the holy objects at LMB during Rinpoche’s S.F. Bay Area tour. We are so pleased to welcome HE Ling Rinpoche back to Land of Medicine Buddha for the first time in 5 years!
About the Event
This is a free event and we welcome anyone and everyone. We expect a very large crowd so please register as soon as possible so we can plan parking and catering needs. We highly recommend carpooling when possible.
Schedule
- 3:30pm – 4:00pm: Guests arrival – please arrive early to give time to park, and be ready to greet Rinpoche
- ~4:00pm – H.E. Ling Rinpoche arrives
- 4:30pm – 5:30pm – Blessing of the Holy objects (see more details below)
- 6:00pm – 7:00pm – Dinner
- 7:00pm – 8:00pm – Public Talk in the Gompa

Holy Objects Blessings
HE Ling Rinpoche will be driven to the Stupa Project at 4:30pm and then will walk to the Wish Fulfilling Temple. From Wish Fulfilling Temple. We will then drive Rinpoche back to the main campus for his private dinner before the public talk.
We request that guests limit driving on the roads in the upper campus between 4:30 – 5:30pm so HE Ling Rinpoche’s car has priority of the roads and we don’t have traffic jams. Please only walk between areas rather than driving. If mobility is a challenge we recommend choosing a Holy Object site and being dropped off there by 4:30pm and waiting for Rinpoche’s arrival.
Parking
We will have a parking team in place to help direct you. We would like to keep the lower lots available for our elderly community and less abled guests. If you are fit and healthy please park in the meadow. Our team will be able to assist you if you are unfamiliar with the location of the Meadow.
Dinner
Dinner will be offered to all guests, we please request that you register your attendance so we can cater appropriately. There is a separate “I’m coming for dinner” option, please be sure to select this.

With the wish to make this precious event and dinner available to everyone, we are committed to offering this event free of charge. We are still seeking sponsors to help cover the event. Your contribution will help cover essential costs such as HE Ling Rinpoche’s dinner, dinner for attendees, offerings in the gompa, and transportation costs.
For those that donate $250 or more, we would like to offer reserved priority seating within the gompa and VIP parking.
