The one-year anniversary of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche passing into parinirvana is fast approaching. Join us for this special day learning about Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, his previous incarnation the Lawudo Lama, and the place they both called home – Lawudo. Ven. Angie has recently returned from an extended pilgrimage to the “Heart” of the Himalayas, Lawudo Cave and Retreat Center in Nepal. This is the sacred place where her main teacher, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the Spiritual Director of FPMT, engaged in deep spiritual practice spanning 2 lifetimes. Through stories and slideshows, Ven. Angie will share the amazing history of Lawudo and Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s connection with it.
