With Venerable Katy Cole

Sunday, May 3

Online Only via Zoom
May the glorious lamas live long.
May happiness and well-being arise for all sentient beings, present throughout space.
May I and all beings without exception, having gathered the two accumulations and purified the two obscurations, be swiftly established in the state of Buddhahood.
Overview
As we wish for the above, we are offering Long Life prayers for His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Gyumed Rinpoche, and for Geshe
Dhakpa every month (including a recital at the end for Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s Swift return).
We encourage all of Rinpoche’s students and all who are connected with him to join in this Long-Life Prayer. We know that you can do prayers in your home, yet when all sangha members gather together, it helps make the intent of the prayer more effective.
Also, we know that doing Long-Life Prayers is Guru Devotion Practice.
Many of the great masters have said that doing Long-Life Prayers for your guru is the best purification practice and the best way to accumulate merit. We think this is not late, but rather a very good time to do these Long-Life Prayers as His Holiness and our precious gurus are involved in so many dharma activities and teachings ,and they are in their older years.
We hope all of you can join in these prayers on the first Sundays of each month from 4:00 to 5:30 PST. Four of our local centers will be involved: Land of Medicine Buddha, Ocean of Compassion, Vajrapani, and Tse Chen Ling.
Our center will offer the Long life prayer May 3. The prayers will be rotated monthly (same time each first Sunday) at these other Bay Area FPMT centers. Each center has a different Zoom link for you to use so please check the individual centers’ websites for their link below.
First Sunday of the month, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm, Online Only via Zoom
Sunday, April 5: Tse Chen Ling
Sunday, June 7: Ocean of Compassion
