Losarla Tashi Delek – Happy New Year!
Join us in ushering in the auspicious Tibetan New Year, Losar, with a traditional puja aimed at clearing obstacles for the upcoming year of the fire horse. Venerable Samten will lead a Palden Lhamo puja followed by Lama Chopa Tsog in Tibetan.
The Palden Lhamo puja is a time-honored practice that seeks to dispel negativity and obstacles, creating a harmonious and positive energy for the coming year. As we gather to welcome the energy of the wood dragon, let us come together in unity and reverence.
Before the puja, we invite you to share in the spirit of community and joy by participating in a potluck dinner in the dining room. We encourage everyone to bring a dish to share, creating a diverse and delicious feast to celebrate the occasion.
If you would like to contribute to the offerings in the Gompa, please use the gift of Dharma section.
Let us embark on the journey of the fire horse year with renewed strength, positivity, and shared blessings. We look forward to celebrating the Tibetan New Year with you!
Due to this being held on Losar (Tibetan New Year), all merit created on this day is multiplied by 100 million! Don’t miss this special opportunity.
