This four-week series is designed for those wishing to deepen their understanding and practice of the Buddhist path, focusing on foundational and advanced teachings.
Week 1 explores the true meaning of refuge and renunciation, emphasizing liberation from the cycle of samsara through heartfelt determination.
Week 2 delves into Bodhicitta, the altruistic mind of enlightenment, introducing methods for cultivating compassion and overcoming obstacles to altruism.
Week 3 integrates the wisdom of emptiness into daily life, providing tools to transform reactivity and foster patience through the understanding of dependent origination.
Week 4 introduces Vajrayana practices, including deity yoga and visualization, highlighting their role as a swift and profound path to enlightenment. Each session combines meditative practices, teachings, and discussions to inspire personal growth and practical application of the teachings.

Richard earned a BA in Psychology at UC Berkeley during the social unrest of the late 1960’s. With a motivation to find a path to a peaceful society, he travelled to India. Going overland from Europe to spend a year in India and Nepal, it was not until reaching Australia…
