This four-week course provides a comprehensive introduction to core Buddhist principles and practices, designed to inspire and guide participants in their spiritual journey.
Week 1 begins with an exploration of the Buddha’s life and the foundational elements of the path: renunciation, Bodhicitta, and the correct view of emptiness, complemented by meditations on the preciousness of human life.
Week 2 introduces the Lamrim, or stages of the path, offering a structured approach to enlightenment and emphasizing ethical actions and motivations.
Week 3 focuses on emptiness (shunyata) as the ultimate nature of reality, using meditation and discussion to deepen participants’ understanding of interdependence and peace of mind.
Week 4 highlights Bodhicitta and Guru Yoga, encouraging the cultivation of altruistic motivation and devotion to the teacher as central to Vajrayana practice. Each session integrates meditation, presentations, and group discussions to ensure a balanced and experiential learning experience.
