Please wait for a confirmation from the registrar before making your travel plans. If you are flying, please choose SJC, San Jose airport. (It is much closer and more convenient than SFO – San Francisco.)
We are currently putting together diverse panels and speakers representing a range of lineages and experience levels. Do you have some experience or interest in this year’s topic? Are you currently working on a related project? Please let us know if you would be willing to give a presentation or lead an activity.
The purpose of the gathering is to get to know each other and make supportive friendships, so don’t put too much weight on the theme. No matter what the theme is, participants enjoy visiting amongst themselves and experiencing the venue. It is traditional for Wednesday to include an outing, this year’s outing might be to one of the local beaches.
Travel Fund:
Every year we appeal to all those monastics and their communities who can contribute towards a Travel Fund to help monastics to get to the gathering, especially those who are far from California and need support for air tickets.
Any incoming funds will be dispersed on a first-come basis, following registration. If you are able to generate donations from your monasteries, centers or Sanghas towards the Travel Fund this would be so helpful.
