“An excellent and intellectually stimulating introduction to the Buddhist way of life” – Publishers Weekly

ABOUT THE BOOK:

The text we shall be exploring together over the course of these seven weekly gatherings is Wisdom Publications’ Approaching the Buddhist Path by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Venerable Thubten Chödrön.

This recently published book is the first in an amazing series containing the traditional Buddhist Sanskrit tradition teachings, together with comparisons from the Buddhist Pali tradition, as well as rich parallels with modern psychology and science.

Although it is written in accessible language, Approaching the Buddhist Path succeeds in conveying the depth and nuance of the Buddhist traditions. This brilliant collaboration couples His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s ancient wisdom and modern awareness with the editing and framing skills of highly regarded, American nun and Abbess, Venerable Thubten Chodron. We invite you to dive in!

You may purchase a copy of the book online https://bookshop.org/books/approaching-the-buddhist-path-volume-1/9781614296980 or you may alternatively opt to purchase an electronic version online. Please make sure to obtain your own copy of the book in your preferred format before the group starts.
