About the Instructor:

Valeria Galetto has a master’s degree in Social Anthropology and a Ph.D. in Development Studies . She is a certified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, having obtained her certification from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Valeria has studied and practiced mindfulness meditation at the Insight Meditation Center (IMC) since 2012, with Gil Fronsdal and Andrea Fella as her primary teachers. She serves as a Dharma Mentor for IMC’s Eightfold Path Program. Since 2015, she has taught mindfulness-based courses, and daylong silent retreats and the MBSR Program.
