Sample Day Schedule:

Breakfast: In the dining room, enjoy a delicious, mainly organic, vegetarian, buffet breakfast with coffee, tea and water.

Morning: Experience a Qigong movement class and learn about energy and flexibility. Qigong and self-acupressure will move Qi, or vital energy, smoothly through your meridians and bring you to a state of relaxation with gentle physical movements and mindful breathing. After a break, learn meditation techniques, with mindfulness meditations and visualization, for deep inner peace and relaxation.

Lunch: In the dining room, enjoy a delicious, mainly organic, vegetarian, buffet lunch with coffee, tea and water.

Afternoon: Take an expert-led nature walk in a majestic redwood forest, learning about redwood ecology, wild herbs and birds. After some free time, enjoy a snack in the dining room, then take in a lecture and demonstration on aromatherapy. Learn how to use organic essential oils at home in many simple ways, including baths, steam inhalations, compresses and massage blends.

Dinner: In the dining room at the retreat center, we’ll enjoy a delicious, mainly organic, vegetarian buffet dinner with coffee, tea and water included, at 6:00 p.m.

Evening: On site, evening activities could include socializing, the viewing of a documentary film or movie, another form of entertainment, a lecture or a private massage; you may also choose to enjoy some time at leisure if you wish
