Land of Medicine Buddha is one of the sponsors of Road Scholar (Elderhostel Inc.). As a participating center, we offer unique courses that heal the body, mind and spirit. These include a variety of healing modalities such as qi-gong, aromatherapy, massage, acupressure, yoga, herbology, vegetarian cuisine, healthy food choices, meditation and Buddhist philosophy. The Road Scholar Programs are specifically designed for people who share a love of learning. Participants come from different states, from every walk of life, every type of background to learn together, to exchange ideas. Couples or singles are welcome. The Road Scholar participants may bring accompanying friends, or family as well.
