ABOUT THE PRAYERATHON
The International Mahayana Institute (IMI), FPMT’s community of monks and nuns, is organizing a weekly 10-hour online session entitled, Prayers in Accordance with the Times: Weekly Prayers with the IMI* Sangha for the War in Ukraine and General Health of the Planet. It is hosted by FPMT center Chenrezig Institute in Eudlo, Queensland, Australia. Venerable Amy Miller will be leading the prayers from Land of Medicine Buddha for 1/2 hour of the 10 hour Prayerathon.
LMB’s Spiritual Director, Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, suggested specific prayers to be done by FPMT monks and nuns to focus at this time on the war in Ukraine, but of course these prayers can be helpful for averting natural disasters and other significant problems in our lives and communities.
