This one-day event is the experiential element of Discovering Buddhism course 11: “Transforming Problems” being offered at Land of Medicine Buddha, Nov-Dec 2017. DB Practice Days include:
- guided meditations on the topics covered in the course
- review
- discussions groups
- group presentations
Don’t worry; it’s all fun, not stressful. Participants will practice putting what they’ve learned into their own words in order to integrate it into their own lives and to be able to explain it to others when appropriate. Individuals who have participated in DB11 previously, at LMB or another center, or as home-study, are welcome to attend this day of guided meditation and discussion.
We will have our sessions in the Pine Room. Registration for the Practice Day includes lunch in the Dining Room (or outside, if the weather is nice). Register by Friday 10am to be included in the lunch count. See more about Discovering Buddhism here. Registration is important so that we can give the kitchen an accurate count for lunch, at least 24 hours in advance.
