This one-day event is the experiential element of Discovering Buddhism course 12: “Wisdom of Emptiness” which was offered at Land of Medicine Buddha, Mar-Apr 2018.
Sessions will include:
- overview of the topics covered in this course, such as: the misperceptions to be removed; dependent-arising; emptiness; no-self, etc.
- silent and guided meditations
- discussion and presentations
We will be in the Wish-Fulfilling Temple for this program. You can drive right up and park near the temple. Get the code to the main gate so you don’t have any trouble getting in. (The main gate is usually locked on Saturdays.)
Individuals who have particpated in DB12 previously, at LMB or another center, or as home-study, are welcome to attend this day of guided meditation and discussion.
Registration for the Practice Day includes lunch in the Dining Room (or outside, if you like). Register by Friday 10am to be included in the lunch count.
See more about Discovering Buddhism here.
Registration is important so that we can give the kitchen an accurate count for lunch, at least 24 hours in advance.
