2pm – Meet at base of pier to start cleaning up the beach
3:30pm – Meet on pier to do the ocean blessing
Join us to add blessings to the ocean and the sentient beings therein, by putting the Namgyalma mantra board into the water and then doing a short meditation with mantra recitation, following the instructions of Lama Zopa Rinpoche for such a practice.
To celebrate Earth Day (a few days early) we are adding this special beach clean-up offering of service. LMB will supply trash bags. Bring your sun hat. Dress in layers for the ever-changing weather – sunny, foggy, windy – that occurs at the beach.
Location: Seacliff Beach in Aptos, where the sunken cement boat is.
