4:30pm – Meet on pier to do the ocean blessing
We are going to celebrate His Holiness the Dalai Lama‘s birthday, and the FPMT North American Regional Compassion Day, by performing the Blessing for the Sentient Beings in the Ocean (and who touch the ocean or have anything to do with the ocean).
Join us to add blessings to the ocean and the sentient beings therein, by putting the Namgyalma mantra board into the water and then doing a short meditation with mantra recitation, following the instructions of Lama Zopa Rinpoche for such a practice.
Bring your sun hat. Dress in layers for the ever-changing weather – sunny, foggy, windy – that occurs at the beach.
Location: Seacliff Beach in Aptos, where the sunken cement boat is.
