Nature of Mind - a DB talk

Tue, Jan 16

Due to a surprise month-long visit of Jhado Rinpoche at LMB, the course dates for DB 12: Wisdom of Emptiness are being moved to start on March 6, 2018.

Please see the course description and registration options for DB12 here. If you already pre-purchased the text book, you can come and get it. Unless we hear from you otherwise, we will hold onto your registration for the March 6 start date.

On January 16, Venerable Drimay will give a whirlwind overview of DB1: Mind and Its Potential, the first module of the Discovering Buddhism series.

Buddhist study and meditation are grounded in an understanding of consciousness, its nature and function. To realize our spiritual potential fully, we must understand our own mind and the methods we can use to transform destructive thoughts and attitudes that bring harm to ourselves and others.

This will be a good chance for you to ask questions and get a sense of the Discovering Buddhism program.
