LMB Kids Program: Impermanence

Sunday, May 27, 2018

The 4th session of the LMB Kids Program will focus on impermanence.

All sessions include an art project, kids yoga/movement, and a snack.

This is a perfect opportunity for children to be gently and expertly guided through an exploration of a topic that children are naturally curious about.

After getting your kids situated at the program please head up to the Wish Fulfilling Temple for an adult level talk about impermanence with Jon Landaw.  Click to see event description: https://landofmedicinebuddha.org/events/jon-landaw-impermanence-talk/

Who: kids ages 5-12

Please pre-register and include your child’s name & age.

About the Teacher:

Ami CaytonAmrita (Ami) loves working with children of all ages. She has teaching experience with toddlers through young adults: in the classroom, on the mountain, and in the yoga studio. She taught Creating Compassionate Cultures at Tara Redwood School for the past 10 years. She is passionate about bringing social/emotional development to young people and has developed an art and mindfulness program called Wisdom Way to do so. Ami has also been on staff at Vajrapani Institute’s Family Camp since 2013. She loves the opportunity to bring Buddhist philosophy into families’ lives; witnessing the joy it brings to others fills her with happiness. She is excited to be part of the team developing a Kids program at Land of Medicine Buddha.
