We are delighted to invite you to attend the second of our Annual Festival Days!
On this day, our diverse community comes together to celebrate Ksitigarbha, who cares especially for those who have been reborn in unfavorable states.
Ksitigarbha Buddha made a sacred commitment to help beings out of suffering, vowing:
“Until the hells are empty, I vow not to become a Buddha. Only after all living beings are saved , will I myself attain Bodhi.”
Venue:
Ksitigarbha Pure Land – the upper area of the center, where there is a huge golden statue of Ksitigarbha donated by members of the Chinese community over 18 year ago.
The day’s events begin at 11:30 in front of the Ksitigarbha statue.
