How to Perform Yamankata Self-Initiation - Geshe Ngawang Dakpa

Friday, Oct 23, 2015

Geshe Ngawang Dakpa, resident teacher for the FPMT center in San Francisco, will give a teaching on how to do self-initiations. Performing purifies not only degenerations of tantric vows, such as root falls, but also bodhisattva root falls and vices, as well as pratimoksha downfalls. It purifies the negative karma of degenerating or breaking even pratimoksha root vows.

This teachings is restricted to those who have received the Yamantaka Empowerment. This means that you are performing the Six Session Guru Yoga daily.

It is not necessary to have completed the retreat in order to receive this commentary (although it would be necessarily to complete the retreat in order to actually do the self-initiation [Tib. dag-jug, lit. self-entry].). Open to all who have receive the Yamantaka Empowerment.

Geshe-la will be at Land of Medicine Buddha this time in order to perform the Jangwa ritual to benefit the deceased on Saturday, October, 24, 2015.

Registration required.
