Celebrating His Holiness’ 80th birthday

On July 6, 2015, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama will celebrate his 80th birthday in California! His Holiness will be in Orange County, LA to participate in a three day event to be attended by celebrities, Nobel laureates, world leaders and performers.

At Land of Medicine Buddha, on July 6, 7pm, we will do a walking pilgrimage around the Eight Verses Trail and light offerings at our Mahabodhi Stupa with prayers for the Long Life of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Mia Stafford, who is doing a Miles of Merit fundraiser – running 108 circumambulations around our Eight Verses Pilgrimage Trail for our Mahabodhi Stupa Project will be starting her run on July 6. You are welcome to sponsor her here!
