Tara is the embodiment of the holy actions of the Buddhas. By practicing Tara meditation you can eliminate inner and outer obstacles to the development of your mind, create much merit, and achieve quick success in attaining enlightenment.

About the Retreat Leader

Ordained since the late 1970s, Ven. Robina has worked full time since then for Lama Thubten Yeshe and Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s FPMT. Over the years she has served as editorial director of Wisdom Publications, editor of Mandala Magazine, executive director of Liberation Prison Project, and as a touring teacher of Buddhism. Her life and work with prisoners have been featured in the documentary films Chasing Buddha and Key to Freedom.

*Dropping In

While we would prefer that people attend consistently, we do allow dropping in on sessions for this retreat. Please arrive early enough to get settled so that you do not disturb others.

Cost: $25 per session. This amount helps us to cover tour expenses and operating costs. Please give at the door. Thank you.

No dropping in on meals. If you want to a meal at LMB while you are dropping in for a session, you need to sign up in advance and pay for the meals you eat. Contact the office. Here are the prices:

  • Breakfast: $7
  • Lunch: $13
  • Dinner $11
