Medicine Buddha is the manifestation of the healing energy of all enlightened beings. Prayers to Medicine Buddha are especially powerful because of the extensive prayers they took to benefit sentient beings. They strongly prayed for the temporal and ultimate happiness of all sentient beings; they vowed that their prayers would be actualized during these times.

This Extensive version of the puja is part of the instructions for pacifying earthquakes. It takes about 4 1/2 – 5 hours.

Language: English only

Note: No black foods prior to the practice (egg, meat, onion, garlic and alcohol)

We are able to keep our Gompa doors open due to the kindness and generosity of folks like you. All donations received for registration of this event, unless otherwise specified, goes toward the up-keep, functioning, and running of Land of Medicine Buddha.
