Daytime Discovering Buddhism Open House with Jon Landaw
Jon Landaw- who taught Discovering Buddhism at LMB for over ten years,
is going to begin teaching DB once again!
Everybody is welcome to attend an OPEN HOUSE Thursday, September 26, at 10:30am.
Come to LMB that morning to meet and greet Jon, have your questions answered, and get a feel for what this new DB series will be like.
The actual DB series of classes will begin
with a six-week module entitled
PRESENTING THE PATH.

This introductory module will provide an overview
of the entire range of Buddhist teachings
as presented in the Tibetan tradition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
The first class in this module
(Thursday, October 3, 10:30-12:15)
will feature a PowerPoint presentation of Buddha’s life
using illustrations from one of Jon’s most popular books:
PRINCE SIDDHARTHA: The Story of Buddha
This first class will be open to all,
whether you register for the entire module or not,
and is suitable for everyone who likes a good story.
All are welcome! No need to register for this open house event.
