Dharma Toolkit: Creating a Complete Spiritual Practice - Unifying Wisdom and Compassion

Friday - March 4th, 11th, & 18th

With Geshe Tenzin Zopa

6:00 pm – 7:30 pm PST

Friday, March 4th – 18th, 2022

In order to have a complete and truly effective practice, it is necessary to train our minds in the development of both wisdom and compassion. At times certain practices may emphasize one skill or the other, but both must reinforce each other on the cushion and in daily life. With a developed capacity for compassionate action we become highly motivated to use clear investigation to understand why suffering arises in ourselves and others which grows our innate wisdom in ways that allow our compassionate intentions to be more skillful.

In this course Geshe Zopa will discuss various practices and methods that we can use to begin focusing our minds on these skills, and he will help us to see how both must be united in our practice so that we can be of the greatest benefit to others and reach our highest potential.
