Mind Training is a translation of the Tibetan term Lo-jong (also call Thought Transformation) – a genre of Buddhist practice that aims to use problems as one’s path to enlightenment. In these once-a-month meetings, Venerable Drimay will lead us in drawing from the abundant supply of Lo-jong literature to pull out techniques that will work for us in dealing with life’s problems. At first, you might be most interested in getting rid of your problems, but as your Mind Training skills improve, you will eventually look forward to problems as a chance to practice.
